The Voice of Disability was established in 2018 by Fadila Lagadien, a disabled women. The organisation was started with the expressed purpose of creating an E-platform for disabled women to speak up and out, and aligns itself with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with disabilities.
The WVLSA project aims to give expression to the voice of disabled women to speak up and out about socio-economic and political matters that affect our lives by creating an online presence through the Internet and social media platforms in the main, to give expression to voices of disabled women.
