Incema Non Profit Organisation was established in 2014 by Mrs Thenjiwe Ngcobo. The organisation was established to respond to the need to provide psycho- social, prevention and support services to children who were previously sexually abused or exposed, whom due to inadequate or limited access to therapeutic service grow up to become perpetrators or offenders of sexual and gender based violence. The main recipients of psycho-social services are Sexual Abuse Reactive children and their families/ caregivers. This service intends to prevent further abuse to children by children who are sexually acting out and to provide more support to victims of sexual and gender based violence.
With this WVL project, Incema NPO is joining forces with stakeholders involved in management of SGBV to respond to the increase of cases by providing online therapeutic, counselling and support services to victims of sexual and gender based violence including the victims of domestic violence emanating from the restrictions of the National lock down due to the outbreak of Covid 19.
