Resoketswe Lebjane Foundation was started by young women and men from Violatbank village. Our organisation came in response to a high rate of Human Rights being violated in variance ways. We realised that there was a big gap between marginalised people and access to justice. Many people lack information about the constitution of South Africa. As Resoketswe Lebjane Foundation we render effective basic legal advice and paralegal services to individuals or community groups.
The organisation aims to empower the community especially women and girls to fight against any act that is violating their rights by demanding accountability and holding the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development responsible for their protection.
The project aims to put an end to illegal abortions in Bushbuckridge. To restore the safety of young women in the rural areas and for women to be aware of their Sexual Reproductive Health Rights.
