This organisation was started in 2018 by three members who want to support disadvantaged families. The organisation provides counselling to patients living with HIV and Aids and assists orphans by giving them food parcels and running a soup kitchen. We provide skills to youth and create job opportunities for people who are not working. The aim of the organisation is to take care of a large number of orphans and poor people by giving them food; distributing food parcels to hard hit families and female and child-headed households with no potential for other income and to increase access to running water for improved hygiene, infection control and improved recovery of patients who are infected.
The WVLSA project aims to take care of a large number of orphans and poor people by giving them food, giving women a chance to participate in the programme and to deliver what we have been telling our community to count on us for.
