Resoketswe Lebjane Foundation was started by young women and men from Violatbank village. Our organisation came in response to a high rate of Human Rights being violated in variance ways. We realised that there was a big gap between marginalised people and access to justice. Many people lack information about the constitution of South Africa. As Resoketswe Lebjane Foundation we render effective basic legal advice and paralegal services to individuals or community groups.
The organisation aims to empower the community especially women and girls to fight against any act that is violating their rights by demanding accountability and holding the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development responsible for their protection.
Our project is dedicated to empowering adolescent girls in rural areas by providing them with the tools and support they need to combat Gender-Based Violence in their schools. By establishing supportive school clubs, we aim to create safe spaces where these young girls can voice their concerns, share their experiences, and work together to foster a culture of respect and equality. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to build a network of empowered girls who are equipped to challenge and change the norms that perpetuate violence and discrimination.
