Resumes are required for the Opportunity/Rapid response grant but not for Multi-year core grants.
What if we do not have all the supporting information?
Each organisation needs to go through the online eligibility application to see if they qualify across the different grants. Opportunity/Rapid response grantees will be given grant conditions to meet the requirements.
What if you’re in the process of auditing?
If it is for a Multi-year funding application, the organisation will not qualify but for opportunity grants no audited financials are required.
Which last financials should be submitted?
The most recent financial statements, and these should not be older than 18 months.
Can I submit a video for my application?
Yes, you can submit a video of your proposal in any of the official languages spoken in South Africa. However, it must accompany your application and be submitted online.
What will we need to report on if we receive a grant?
Grantees are expected to submit a narrative report and a financial report every six months for the duration of the grant. The reporting templates are available online on the grants system and will only be visible to grantees at the time of reporting.
Do we need to have our financial statements audited?
Opportunity/Rapid response applicants do not need to have financial audited statements. However, Multi-year core applicants must have audited annual financial statements that are not older than 18 months at the time of submission.
Do we need to acknowledge the WVL-SA grants?
Yes, you must acknowledge the grant and ensure that all WVL-SA activities funded by Global Affairs Canada through Gender Links contain all three logos on all promotional materials.
