My journey with SADAG KZN began this year, in April, where we began the planning for an online support group for anxiety… a series of 8 sessions, one a month. I currently volunteer my services with one online session per month, focused on managing anxiety.
Being able to reach a few more people, and empower them with skills to help manage their anxiety a bit better, is fulfilling. I have learned the following skills in my work with SADAG; knowledge management and having to have a lot of patience, because it’s an organization with different levels, things sometimes take time.
It’s been a privilege to be able to give back and help to empower some with skills who otherwise may not have access. To continue to provide online support in collaboration with SADAG
