See Something, Say Something
“Silence Hides Violence. See Something, Say Something”
I have known SAWID since 2003. As the Coordinator of Western Cape Network on Violence Against Women, we were invited to the SAWID launch and actively participated in establishing SAWID in the Province.
SAWID has been a champion in raising the voices of women, on all platforms, local, national and international, and have been inclusive of all women.
Inclusivity is important, eradicating poverty which is a driver of most social ills, is vital, women are not free, until all women are free.
Working inclusively of all women, understanding the difference we make in women’s lives daily, by being a voice to the voiceless.
As an internationally recognized organization, it gives us a platform as local NGOs, to participate in a structure that serves internationally.
